How Honey Health Came to Be

Do you ever feel that you’ve met someone before even though it’s your first meeting? I have that feeling often with my patients. I truly believe that there are no “chance meetings.”

From my time in doctor’s offices and hospitals to my time in wellness centers and non-profit health clinics, the people and experiences in my life have all brought me here. In my early awkward years of middle school, I found myself volunteering in the hospital and being drawn to patient care. In college, I studied psychology and women’s health gearing up for medical school. I took a turn after college and worked for a medical software company for 10 years.

In the past six years, I have had the honor of working in a wellness center, a detox facility and a non-profit community clinic. It has given me the opportunity to work with people in chronic pain, acute detox and those needing support for their mental and emotional health. In addition to my Master’s in Chinese Medicine, I have completed additional studies in TMJ/jaw pain, postpartum conditions and autoimmune disease. In 2021, I graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science with a professional doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

When I work with my patients, it is a collaborative approach. Patient and practitioner work together to determine the goals for treatment and the plan for getting there. I look forward to working with you.
